Guidewire applications need tune-ups to keep it running well. The goal of this service is to inform customers of technical debt/issues in their production code base and includes an architecture/design review, checks for cloud standards and best practices, identifies improvements for logging and error handling, etc. to make sure customers have a healthy system. We will also do a performance assessment as a part of this engagement to identify any potential performance bottlenecks. We will also aim to enable customers on data pruning and migration standards to keep database volumes healthy and provide them the tools to check their code for on-going self-managed developments (i.e. SurePath plugin) Guidewire will provide quarterly follow-ups to ensure customers stay on track.
These improvements give customers immediate benefits, while also shrinking the costs of their future upgrades and/or cloud migration.
The output of this service is to establish a comprehensive set of cloud remediation + technical / architecture improvements to their self-managed systems.
This will require workshops and a consultative approach in addition to running tools to generate the cloud remediation backlogs.
