Professional Services - Selective Data Management (SDM)

Selective Data Management (SDM) is a Guidewire Professional Services offering that enables the replication of data from one environment to another, including from Production. The primary use case of SDM is to help customers streamline their test data and to help with Production triaging. SDM allows for production quality data to be replicated in test environments, providing business users with realistic data for a variety of business cases, and developers/testers to replicate production issues and the ability to test with only what they need, and to provide timely fixes. 

Through SDM, customers can save valuable credits on storage, processing power, GPUs and infrastructure costs, and focus more on delivering business value rather than spending time in re-creating test data through traditional manual or automated means.

SDM is supported across all InsuranceSuite applications and Guidewire Professional services will help install, configure and integrate within your InsuranceSuite application in 12 weeks or less, for most customer situations. SDM can be leveraged alongside Guidewire Data masking solution or customer's own data masking solution, for situations where data is replicated directly from Production InsuranceSuite instance.
